About Me

Hey there, nice to meet you!

I reside in the utterly quirky, and often very rainy, former mining town of Queenstown, on Tasmania’s west coast with my wonderful partner Tom and our ridiculously adorable dog Manny. Originally from country NSW, I now well and truly call Tasmania home, and spend most of my days criscrossing Tassie, meeting couples and performing weddings.

When not being a marriage celebrant, my ‘day job’ involves spinning tales of adventure and hardship on the historic tourist train that trundles through the rainforest from Queenstown to Strahan. Telling stories for a living is a helluva gig, and I enjoy getting to meet and chat with new people every day.

In my own time, I'm a lifelong, unapologetic, dork. I love reading, netflixing, playing board games, drinking wine (and gin, and beer...), bingeing for the hundredth time on Mike Schur shows (The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn...). Living in the great west wilderness of Tasmania, I have been tricked into a love of kayaking and bushwalking, and maybe just maybe, there's a little glamping in my future.

I like to see the fun in most situations and put people at their ease. Though I don’t take myself too seriously, I do take my work seriously, and am a stickler for the smaller details.

I consider myself very lucky that I get to meet and celebrate with so many amazing couples, each with their own unique story. I'm a seasoned public speaker and storyteller, crowd wrangler, and am always up for a challenge.
